Slovene language teacher
Group and individual Slovene courses, preparation for the Slovene language exam, support with the NPZ and proofreading of texts. Learning is adapted to your goal, prior knowledge and pace.
I am Jasmina Kodrič. I believe that we do not learn a language only through rules, but also through a feeling for meaning, rhythm and context.
My lessons are designed so that the student gradually gains more clarity, confidence and independence when using Slovene. Don't worry — I have many years of experience with speakers of different languages and backgrounds, so I know exactly what to point out to individual participants. Dozens of people have passed state exams in Slovene with my help.
Every student comes for a different reason — that is why the work begins with your goal, not with a textbook.
I explain grammar through examples, comparisons and situations that you can use immediately.
We do not just correct one task; we look for mistakes that keep repeating.
Learning takes place gradually, with a clear plan and enough room for questions.
Online courses in small groups, 36-hour packages, recordings available if you cannot be present.
For everyone who wants to improve speaking, grammar, writing, reading or understanding Slovene.
Systematic preparation for exam tasks: listening, reading, writing and speaking.
Support for students in understanding the material, solving tasks, writing answers and strengthening language skills.
Language review and editing of seminar papers, theses, business documents and other texts.
A textbook is not necessary. I usually prepare the working materials myself and adapt them to your level, goals and learning pace. If you already have your own textbook, workbook or texts, we can include them in the lessons.
Before the course begins, I have a short conversation with you, based on which I determine your language level and the appropriate group.
Yes, by agreement. Homework helps reinforce the material between lessons. I adapt the amount of work to your time and goals — it may include shorter exercises, writing, reading or preparation for conversation.
A lesson lasts 45 minutes. In a group, we usually conduct 2 school hours each time.
At least twice a week is recommended. For faster progress, preparation for an exam or intensive learning, it makes sense to have lessons more often, while also practising regularly on your own.
We can reschedule the lesson if you inform me in time. In that case, we will find a new time together. If the cancellation is very late, we follow the agreement that we set at the beginning of our cooperation.
Yes, you can. You may send the text in advance so that I can assess the scope of work and tell you how I can help. For longer or more demanding texts, before starting we also agree on the deadline and the method of review.
First, you write to me what you need: learning Slovene, preparation for an exam, support with primary or secondary school work (NPZ, matura), conversation practice or review of a text. Then we arrange a short introductory consultation, define the goals and choose a suitable time for the first lesson.
